Hazelway International School (H.I.S) was established by Mr. and Mrs. Acquaah in the year 2008. The school is located at broadcasting junction, opposite river Densu near Kasoa on the Accra-Cape Coast highway.
Considering the current standard of education which is falling, due to quite a number of reasons, some of which are economic, loss of interest in learning in exchange for the quest of money, the fast rate of development in the outside world in comparison to this
country, H.I.S is established to meet these challenges.

The meaning of the name of our school
As the name Hazel implies ‘a tree with small useful nuts’ (An acorn is a potential oak tree, all things being equal), Hazelway has a humble beginning but has now established itself as a household name in Ghana and the world over.

Mission
The mission of H.I.S is to create a happy, safe, dynamic learning and God-centered environment, to promote critical thinking and equip learners with appropriate skills. H.I.S will also provide conducive climate to teaching and learning, build a vibrant and contended staff team and encourage maximum parental involvement in a child-centered education.
